BEFORE THE POLYNUCLEOTIDE TREATMENT

During your initial consultation, you will receive detailed pre-treatment advice.  This may include the cessation of certain medications prior to the treatment. Please disclose all medications you are currently taking for detailed advice. You will be advised to avoid certain over-the-counter medicines to reduce the chance of bruising after your treatment


Patients are asked to attend their appointment free of makeup. As is the case with any injectable procedure, not consuming alcohol for two days before the treatment is advised. Consider starting Arnica a couple of days before to lessen any potential bruising, after consulting with your practitioner. Supplements such as Ginkgo biloba, garlic, St. John’s Wort,  primrose oil, Vitamin E, and ginseng should be avoided in the preceding days before the treatment.


AFTER THE POLYNUCLEOTIDE TREATMENT

Proper post-treatment care can really help your treatment along. It is common to experience some redness or swelling post-treatment. Aftercare advice includes mild skincare practices, steering clear of strong products, and avoiding sun exposure. It's recommended for patients to maintain cleanliness and moisture in the treated area, using suggested topical items to help with recovery and enhance the treatment's benefits.



Using sun protection is vital for protecting the skin from UV rays, preserving the rejuvenating effects of the treatment for a longer period.
