THE CO2 LASER RESURFACING PROCESS
Initial consultation and skin assessment

During the procedure
Numbing cream is applied beforehand. The laser is then passed over the treatment area in either short pulses or a gentle, continuous movement. Most people describe the sensation as warm or prickly rather than painful. Depending on the size of the area, treatment usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Aftercare and healing
Expect some redness and sensitivity, much like to sunburn, for several days. Over the next few coming days, the top layer of your skin will begin to flake and renew.
